Speak Up. Speak Out. Make it CLEAR.
Welcome to the change you’ve been waiting for
Our Story
In August 2024, four high school juniors entered an entrepreneurship program expecting to start a business—but what they created was something far more urgent. As they brainstormed ideas, one truth kept surfacing: each of them was deeply moved by the crisis of sexual assault and the silence that surrounds it. They didn’t want to launch a product—they wanted to launch change.
By February 2025, The CLEAR Initiative was born: a youth-led movement committed to transforming how we talk about, understand, and prevent sexual violence. What began as a classroom project has since evolved into a growing coalition—powered by purpose, shaped by lived experience, and driven by a refusal to accept the status quo. Every day, we’re building, adapting, and growing—because the world can’t wait for someone else to fix it.
Mission
The CLEAR Initiative is a youth-led movement working to end sexual assault by transforming how society understands, prevents, and responds to it. Through bold education, survivor-centered advocacy, and culture-shifting conversations, we empower young people to challenge silence, dismantle harmful systems, and lead a future grounded in justice, accountability, and consent.
Vision
We envision a world where sexual violence is no longer ignored, excused, or misunderstood—a world where survivors are heard and believed, where prevention is a priority, and where every young person has the tools to create safer schools, communities, and institutions.
Through powerful storytelling, legislative reform, and grassroots education, The CLEAR Initiative is building that world—led by youth, informed by experience, and driven by the belief that change begins with clarity, courage, and collective action.
Our Why
Sexual assault is not just a personal tragedy—it’s a widespread, deeply rooted crisis that thrives in silence, misunderstanding, and broken systems. The world needs The CLEAR Initiative because young people are too often left without the knowledge, support, or power to challenge the conditions that allow harm to continue.
The CLEAR Initiative exists to change that.
We are building a future where consent is understood, survivors are believed, and communities take action—not just in response to violence, but to prevent it altogether. Through bold youth leadership, cultural education, and survivor-informed advocacy, we are creating space for honest dialogue, systemic accountability, and transformative change—because safety, justice, and dignity should never be optional.
